KBEs Kauma Brief Encounters

KBEs are brief encounters arranged seasonally to bring together creatives in public physical spaces like restaurants, cafes, lounges or creative spaces to exchange ideas, cultivate collaborations and deepen the artistic value. They are quick ‘home-away-from-home’ welcome breaks with like minded people crossing borders in cities around the world. Share your travel plans or itinerary with us to schedule your stop over where one is happening.

Connecting Communities

Royal Borough of Greenwich and Kauma Arts present the ‘Connecting Communities: From Local to Global Dance Exchange’ project.

The project connects local dance practitioners and community groups with established artists in order to build a dance programme that reflects, engages, and is developed by the borough’s diverse communities. It specifically draws on the cultures and dance styles of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities to create new bodies of work, representing the diverse communities in the borough and surrounds.
